The Boy I Grew Up With is written as a stand-alone, so if you only want to read TBIGUW then go for it!

ABOUT THE FALLEN CREST/CREW UNIVERSE:
** If you'd like to read Crew or TBIGUW and not the Fallen Crest series, you can totally do that! I wrote those books in that manner so you could do that. Crew series (Crew, Crew Princess, Always Crew must be read in order. The Fallen Crest Series must be read in order.)
** But if you'd like to read everything in order and understand the timeline, the books were written as followed:
1. Fallen Crest Series
(Heather and Channing appear in this series.)
2. Crew
(Based on Channing's sister. She nor any of the main characters besides Heather/Channing do not appear in Fallen Crest Series. Crew is the start of another series based in the same universe that Fallen Crest exists.)
